Leading the charge will be the first official live demonstration of Tannoy's VX Series and VXP Series, the latter featuring Lab.gruppen's new IDEEA (Intelli-Drive Energy Efficient Amplifier) power module. The new passive and self-powered sound reinforcement lines build on the success of the existing V Series range, with an expanded line-up that includes twin driver configurations and new QCW (Q-Centric Waveguide) transducer technology for optimal tonal clarity, LF performance and greater pattern control.
In another InfoComm exclusive, Lab.gruppen intends to give an advanced preview of its forthcoming E Series. Due for launch in late Q3, E Series is a new two-channel, 1U amplifier platform that promises "to bring the superior sound quality and exceptional reliability that defines the Lab.gruppen brand, to a wider, more extensive range of potential installed sound applications thanks to its power density and highly competitive price point". The series Comprises of three models ranging from 1200 W to 400 W output.
Marc Bertrand, TCGA's CEO, said, "VX Series and VXP Series marks the first time that Tannoy and Lab.gruppen have collaborated on a range in this way, and we've got the technology spot on with these new products. With E Series coming later this year - and exclusively previewing at the show - we're making tangible progress towards offering a truly integrated solution where the installed sound market is concerned."
Audica Professional will be showing and demonstrating its full range of MICROseries electronics and loudspeakers, designed to offer "style and flexibility for background music, commercial AV and audio communication applications". The range consists of the MICROpoint and MICROline wall-mount loudspeakers and the 'mini-spotlight' MICROdot ceiling loudspeaker. All three loudspeakers provide wide-band audio to 70Hz and feature integral wire-through brackets and aluminium enclosures. For higher level applications the active MICROsub adds low frequency reinforcement and power.
Lake Processing will be showcasing the new Mesa Mode for the LM 26 Digital Audio Loudspeaker Processor, which will allow use as either a 2-in/6-out stand-alone loudspeaker processor or as a 4-in/4-out system processor via a firmware upgrade to be available in latter half of this year.
Following its launch at last year's InfoComm, the flagship Lab.gruppen PLM 20000Q now boasts enhanced functionality - including Bridge Mode operation - allowing users to bridge four channels into two channels of 10,000 W each, or any other combination required to deliver desired power configuration across 2, 3 or 4 channels, for complete flexibility.
A new innovation from Tannoy, the OCV Series has been developed in response to the specific demands of the consultant market, matching acoustic and architectural requirements, without compromise to either, in a new range of pendant speakers designed for open ceilings and large scale architectural spaces.
"With the OCV Pendant Series, the latest innovations for QFlex, the new Mesa Mode for the LM 26, and additional functionality in the PLM 20000Q, all of us at TC Group Americas are looking forward to this year's InfoComm event in Orlando," continued Bertrand. "We are extremely fortunate to represent such an outstanding portfolio of products across the Tannoy, Audica, Lab.gruppen and Lake brands, and I'm confident that this will be our most successful show to date."
