The event is now in its sixth year and 80% of exhibitors from this year's show have already re-booked for next year's event - with the majority signing their new contracts onsite.
The sold-out International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) Enlighten Europe Conference also ran alongside the show. The ARC Show was further supported by an additional four lighting associations, including the Institution of Lighting Engineers (ILE), Lighting Industry Federation (LIF), Lighting Association (LA) and the Society of Light and Lighting (SLL).
The SLL presented their Young Lighter of the Year award at the show, which was won by Seda Kacel from Total Light Design Studio.
Next year, the event will move to the Business Design Centre, Islington. Event Director Cathy Oates explained the move, "The ARC Show has established itself as the leading event for the architectural, commercial and retail lighting sectors. It provides this hugely influential audience with the opportunity to not only see the very latest products from the leading suppliers, but also attend one of the many educational seminars and conference sessions and networking events. To allow the event to incorporate all of these elements more closely into the show floor we have decided to take The ARC Show back to its spiritual home with its fully purpose built conference and seminar facilities. This move can only serve to further strengthen the event."
The ARC Show will take place next year at the Business Design Centre, Islington from 12-13 January 2011.
