In Liquidation - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang producer Michael Rose has put his principal production company into liquidation, leaving venues and suppliers, including the Ambassador Theatre Group and the Belgrade Theatre, hundreds of thousands of pounds out of pocket.

The company, Michael Rose Limited, has debts totalling £1.12m owed to 21 creditors, with ATG due the largest sum of £247,500. Entertainment lighting company White Light is owed more than £31,000 and two venues, the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry and Malvern Theatres, have been left around £7,000 and £1,600 out of pocket respectively.

Other creditors include Arena Structures, which is yet to receive its payment of £57,000, PRG Europe, which has been left without £40,000, and Stage Technologies, owed nearly £12,000.

Before The Dawn - Kate Bush has announced she is to play a series of concert dates in the UK later this year. An announcement on her official website said she will play 15 shows at London's Hammersmith Apollo in August and September. The title for the show is Before the Dawn and the first date will be 26 August. The singer, whose hits include Wuthering Heights and Hounds of Love, last toured in 1979. "I am delighted to announce that we will be performing some live shows this coming August and September," she said. "I hope you will be able to join us and I look forward to seeing you there."

Stones Reschedule - The Rolling Stones gigs in Australia and New Zealand, cancelled following the death of Sir Mick Jagger's girlfriend L'Wren Scott, are to be rescheduled for later in the year. A statement from Frontier Touring said "every effort" was being made to move the gigs to October and November. Meanwhile, the Stones have been confirmed to play the Roskilde festival in July.

Second-Hand Clothes - Jackets worn by George Harrison and Ringo Starr in The Beatles' 1965 film Help! have fetched £115,000 at a Liverpool auction. Starr's cape fetched £61,000, while Harrison's sold for £54,000, including buyer's premium. Both beat separate pre-sale valuations of £20,000-30,000. Meanwhile, a piano used by Sir Paul McCartney and John Lennon was bought by a South American collector for £57,500. The 1907 Bechstein grand piano was used to compose the tracks Help! and Yesterday, according to Omega Auctions. The piano and jackets were sold by Richard Lester who directed Help! and The Beatles' first film A Hard Day's Night.

Wright Move - BBC Proms director and BBC Radio 3 controller Roger Wright is to leave the BBC after 15 years to become chief executive of Aldeburgh Music. Wright became Radio 3 controller in 1998 and took over the Proms in 2007. He said he was "sorry to be leaving the BBC having enjoyed such a long and fulfilling period" at the corporation. Aldeburgh Music, which is based at Snape Maltings in Suffolk, organises the annual Aldeburgh Festival, which was founded by Benjamin Britten.
