During the 'Swinging Sixties'-themed ceremony, TPi Awards creative director Mark Cunningham announced that the event is set to grow even bigger in 2008, to coincide with the 10th anniversary of Total Production International magazine. Details will be officially announced by Mondiale Publishing later this year.

The TPi Awards 07 production team was managed by Steve Allen with support from Julie Chennells. Tragically, the ceremony was preceded by the shocking news of the death of Richard Willis, SSE Audio Group's sales manager, who collapsed and died at the venue as he was preparing for dinner. During the ceremony, DiGiCo's Bob Doyle paid a heartfelt tribute to Richard, who was just 46 years old. All at TPi and Mondiale Publishing send their condolences and sympathy to Richard's family and close friends.
