Directed by Salvador Tavora, Carmina Burata is operatic spectacle that translates Carl Orff's most renowned choral piece into an unprecedented theatrical experience. Featuring over 30 dancers, actors, a soprano choir and two famous Andalusian stallions, the show is touring the UK, visiting 16 venues in a 3-month period - culminating in a spectacular finale at The Welsh Millennium Centre - the home of the Welsh National Opera.
Having deployed Trantec S5000 on 'La Cuadra de Sevilla's previous national tours of Carmen, Stage Sound Services' MD Phil Hurley specified the new 6002 for this current production.
Phil Hurley says: "For years we always deployed the industry-standard S5000 system for its sonic excellence and reliability, but since the launch of the S6000 system and sister products - the S6001 and S6002, we have invested considerably into the range. It adds enormous potential with its channel flexibility and small belt packs to our hire fleet and is perfect for touring musical productions."
The S6002 is a dual receiver version of the award-winning S6000 rack based system, packaged in a compact 1" width 1 U 19" rack box.
Ideal for touring productions it boasts an impressive operating bandwidth of 70Mhz allowing a very wide range of frequencies to be used in any touring venue.
Underlining the S6002's potential as a sophisticated and powerful sound asset, its miniature transmitter has scored highly with casts from the West End to Broadway for its aesthetic and discreet design.
Trantec will be showing the internationally awarding winning S6000 range at the ABTT Theatre Show -14-15 June, Royal Horticultural Halls, London.
