The 57" NEC MultiSync LCD5710, available from Trident, is designed to offer public venues a cost effective and easy to maintain solution to providing high quality viewing experiences. Using wide viewing angle technology, clear and bright images can be viewed without glare, distortion or reflections, regardless of the position of the audience or varying light conditions. Video walls can be created with up to 5x5 displays to produce a more powerful impact to the audience "whether at a conference or event, hotel, museum, airport lounge, the gym, or out shopping".
A timer function (scheduler), which can switch the unit on and off automatically at pre-set times for venues where continuous operation is not a requirementminimises power consumption and overall Total Cost of Ownership. Up to seven different time programmes can be set, saving energy and increasing product lifetime. Set-up and maintenance is easily co-ordinated via a local computer or network using the NEC NaViSet Administrator software.
The CableComp function developed by NEC Display Solutions provides versatility of the cable length allowing the data source to be up to 100 metres away enabling drive equipment to be located in a more convenient and secure location.
The LCD5710 has a multistage overheating protection system which works even in extreme heat.It has a high viewing angle horizontally and vertically of 178 degrees, a brightness of 450 cdm-2, contrast ratio of 900:1, native full high definition resolution 1920 x 1080 (16:9) WUXGA capability and HDCP high definition content protection which optimises on-screen images, text and video.
