Turbosound's Paul Giansante, who until recently managed the company's US office, has been appointed Turbosound product manager at Sennheiser, ensuring continuity of customer contact, service and design support. Paul will be responsible for all aspects of the Turbosound brand's sales and marketing in the US, reporting to Jeff Alexander, Sennheiser's director of distributed brands.
Bill Woods, sales director of Turbosound Ltd, commented: "We are delighted by this development, and excited about working with such a professional and well-structured organization as Sennheiser. The company has dedicated sales teams covering the entire US, and has a strong brand presence across the region, with our products demonstrating good synergy with Sennheiser's other lines. Our US customers have reacted enthusiastically to this new distribution arrangement, welcoming the fact that Paul Giansante will be playing a key role in the venture. Sennheiser has an impressive facility at its Old Lyme location, with extensive in-house sales support and warehousing - a solid infrastructure; especially with regard to our rapidly expanding product ranges, which address all install and live performance applications. We're all looking forward to working alongside Sennheiser at the forthcoming AES Convention in LA, which will represent an important opportunity to meet our US customers under this new structure and introduce them to the many new products scheduled to make their US debut at the show."
Sennheiser will be distributing all Turbosound's product ranges in the US market, encompassing the QLight systems - including the recently introduced multi-purpose TQ-300 Series - as well as the Flashlight and Floodlight systems. Activity will also be focused on Turbosound's forthcoming series of specialist compact systems for the install market.
