Designed to offer contractors a range of installation alternatives, the TCS Compact products can be supplied as standard in black-painted cabinets or with an all-over-white finish. They are also available as weather-resistant variants to IP54, and can be ordered in custom colours to suit specific interior design and architectural requirements. The range comprises the TCS-081C, TCS-101C, TCS-121C and the TCS-151C, fitted with 8", 10", 12" and 15" LF drivers respectively, together with the TCS-115C and TCS-118C single 15"and single 18" bass cabinets. TCS-215C double 15" and TCS-218C double 18" bass enclosures round out the range.
The TCS Compact models have been designed "to offer accurate pattern control, to ensure an installation's results can be as predictable as possible", and the products feature optimized passive crossovers incorporating high-frequency protection circuits. Available with optional line transformers, to ensure straightforward incorporation into 70v/100v line distributed installations, the loudspeakers can be fitted with a variety of rigging and mounting-bracket options, including OmniMount compatibility.
Turbosound's new contractor products were shown alongside the Aspect series, in its large-scale touring and fixed-installation guises. Aspect loudspeakers have featured in a series of tours, events and festivals throughout this summer, including the UK's Glastonbury Festival and the International Festival of the Sea 2005, as well as Denmark's Roskilde and Skanderborg Festivals.
