Germany - ProLight&Sound 2003: Turbosound introduced the TXD series of passive loudspeaker systems, aimed at the live music, DJ and club markets - along with additions to the QLight series and the new LMS-D4 digital loudspeaker controller. The cost-effective TXD series are designed as easily portable systems for the live music, club and DJ sectors, while their built-in rigging points also make them suitable for fixed installations. The range includes two compact full-range two-way enclosures, using 12" (TXD-121) and 15" LF drivers (TXD-151) and a new 1" HF compression driver, plus sub-bass cabinets with either single or double high power 15" bass drivers (TXD-115 and TXD-215) and single 18" bass drivers (TXD-118), as well as the symmetrical TXD-12M compact wedge monitor. Self-powered TXD models are due to be released in the summer.

Designed to offer installation flexibility to rental companies, system designers and contractors, the QLight TQ-300 series features a versatile rotatable HF waveguide, allowing for either vertical or horizontal orientation. The enclosures' multi-angle geometry also enables several models in the range to be used as floor monitors. On show at Frankfurt were the TQ-310 and TQ-315 systems, complemented by the TQ-115 sub-bass enclosureFinally, the 2-in, 4-out LMS-D4 digital controller comes with factory-loaded programs for use with the QLight and other Turbosound loudspeaker systems. It features 24-bit DSP processing, signal and clip front panel LEDs.
