Prepping the H40R and LiteConsole XPRS - from Prolyte
UAE - Now celebrating its tenth year as the GCC region's longest-running trade show for sound, lighting and AV professionals in the event and integration industries, PALME Middle East is again proving its appeal to regular exhibitors, such as Unusual Rigging & Engineering - which has an office in the region, run by Alan Thomson - and Dutch manufacturer, Prolyte Group.

Unusual Rigging & Engineering has made a major impact in the Middle East, where it is the local partner for Doughty, Liftket and Wybron, whose products will be demonstrated on the stand. It has also just been appointed regional rental company for Kinesys motion control products.

Recent major projects for Unusual include the 2011 Dubai Airshow, for which the company was contracted to provide all rigging and associated services, and was also responsible for the auditing of all suspended items in the four main halls and all exhibitions booths.

Meanwhile, Prolyte has combined the best features of its top selling trusses and merged them into a smaller system with a higher loading capacity. The result is the H40R truss, a rectangular standard H40 truss with a programme of advanced specifications and three-sided webbing. The thicker braces on the bottom side allow easy mounting of automated luminaires/moving heads and central loading, reducing the torsion effect resulting from one-sided loading in standard trusses. Also, the compact design makes the H40R easier and more cost effective to transport.

Prolyte will also unveil the latest incarnation of its performance platform, LiteConsole. The XPRS combines the most desirable features of LiteConsole in a sleeker, lighter package, making it even easier to assemble.

At the PALME Middle East exhibition, Prolyte will be showcasing a broad selection of products, demonstrating possible applications in a variety of environments.

This will dovetail neatly with a rigging seminar being presented at PALME Middle East by Prolyte Products UK MD by Lee Brooks, under the subject Building truss systems - technical basics and safety issues.
