As one of India's leading DJs, Ivan's career began 10 years ago at the Time & Again nightclub in Bangalore, where he played for three years. He then went on to become the official DJ for Star Television Network's music channel, Channel V in India, representing them as their official DJ all over the country. In 1998, he finished runner-up at the DMC World Championships in India, while Channel V also nominated him as the best Indian Club DJ for the 1998 Channel V awards.
DJ Ivan became the first (and only) Indian DJ to play alongside DJs Paulette and Spencer on the Ministry Of Sound's first official tour of India in 2001, and the first Indian DJ to host an international dance music show on FM Radio. He is currently the official Smirnoff DJ in India while holding a residency at India's new premier nightclub, Elevate (fitted out by former technical head at Fabric London, Dave Parry) - the largest in the country.
