Van Damme's marketing director Nigel May says: "This is one of those very rare occasions where both trade and suggested selling prices can be cut without compromising product quality. The cost savings achieved are being passed directly on to our dealers, which means that our Musician Series cables are now up to 40% cheaper."
As part of the re-organisation, the company has appointed Simon Christie to the position of account manager for the Musician Series and he will be liasing directly with the MI trade. Christie, who has a degree in Music, has been a guitarist in various bands over the last 14 years. He joins Van Damme UK from Ashley Mark Publishing Company, sister company of MI distributor Summerfield Music.
"I'm delighted to be part of the Van Damme UK team and to be handling such a high quality product," says Christie. "Van Damme's new Musician Series delivers great results across the board, while still offering real value for money. The Van Damme name is already well-respected within the pro audio and live sound industries and, as a musician myself, it's easy to see the benefits of bringing the very best in cable technology to the MI market."
Van Damme has its heritage in the professional touring and sound installation markets where there is absolutely no room for compromise. Subsequently, after 18 years of supplying quality cabling solutions, it has a list of users and customers that reads like the ultimate Who's Who of the music industry.
The Musician Series builds on this heritage by combining sonic clarity with incredible reliability - every cable in the range comes with a no quibble lifetime warranty.
"The quality of a cable makes a huge difference to the performance of any guitar, microphone, or a speaker," May adds. "With our new Musician Series, we guarantee superior performance as we only use selected materials and components and, unlike others, we hand make all of our cables to very exacting standards right here in England."
