"The Regional Service Centre will act as an extended arm of the Vari-Lite factory after fulfilling all the rigourous paperwork and technical training requirements as required to become an authorised Vari-Lite Service Centre," said Julie Smith, Vari-Lite support services director. "This will serve our customers better by minimising equipment downtime, increasing product life span via timely qualified maintenance, and reducing customers repair expenses through logistical savings. It will also serve to facilitate future training and knowledge transfer to all end-users."
