The Vivitek D5010 features native XGA resolution, the Vivitek D5110W comes with WXGA and the D5380U with WUXGA resolution. The Vivitek D5190HD offers Full-HD resolution. With a contrast ratio of 2000:1 and a brightness ranging from 4,700 to 6,000 ANSI Lumens, the new D5000 models effortlessly light up boardrooms, auditoriums as well as conference halls. Due to the integration of the Texas Instruments DLP BrilliantColor chip technology, they also all deliver crystal-clear pictures, with deep blacks and rich engaging colours.
The new models are designed with the installer in mind. The four large venue projectors feature horizontal and vertical lens shift as well as a centered lens for easy installation and maintenance. Additionally, they also come with three interchangeable lens options for flexible positioning with regards to varying screen sizes or projection distance requirements. All four projectors are also Crestron RoomView ready.
For a wide variety of applications, these projectors provide extensive multimedia I/O connections, including HDMI, VGA-In, DVI-D, Component, S-Video, Audio-In and Audio-Out as well as DisplayPort compatibility. The new Vivitek D5000 devices all feature a built-in 12V trigger for an external wireless module connection and are network-ready for integration and system administration via RJ45 and RS232. All four projectors are equipped with two 3 Watt stereo speakers. These high performance credentials don't mean reduced energy savings either, in stand-by mode the D5000 series needs less than 0.5 watts of power, with lamp life of coming in at 3,500 hours of operation.
"We've been delighted with the positive feedback we received for our D5000 series of projectors," says Holger Graeff, general manager EMEA of Vivitek Corporation. "This confirms our belief that the professional installation market is looking for feature-rich, high-performance projectors which are easy to install. Our new Vivitek D5000 series projectors continue to keep going in this direction."
