Burning Man is an annual event and a thriving year-round culture. The event takes place the week leading up to and including Labour Day, and is dedicated to the spirit of community, art and self-reliance, culminating in a burning of a series of effigies as a spontaneous act of "radical self-expression". It is a popular communal event full of unique entertainment.
Walter Productions, located in Phoenix, Arizona brought a parade of five oversized art cars plus their moving 'Kalliope' main stage to Burning Man. The cars and stage were illuminated eye candy for spectators, which were all wirelessly synced with sound and lighting via W-DMX. Ryan Tucknott of Walter Productions explained, "We transmitted the DMX signal from Kalliope and received it on all of our vehicles using 8db high-gain antennas. The system worked flawlessly last year with our four vehicles so we added to the fleet this year."
Walter Productions, or 'The Walter Show' frequently entertains at festivals, concerts, corporate parties and any other place looking to add unique elements to their event. Fully professional lighting and sound systems sync wirelessly with all vehicles for an all-encompassing experience.
Niclas Arvidsson, CEO of Wireless Solution says, "We love to hear these stories about how creative minds are using W-DMX technology to make innovation and art not only possible, but quite spectacular. Walter Productions is this kind of group. We look forward to many more exciting events from them."
