On Monday, 10 September at 3:00pm at Booth E81, Arvidsson and Wireless Solution personnel will hold an informal ceremony, where they will present a limited edition Gold-plated W-DMX BlackBox to their outstanding EMEA dealers. Wireless Solution is exhibiting with White Light.
In addition to a focus on dealers, Wireless Solution will have on display the new BlackBox S-2, billed as the world's first dual-universe transmitter. The product has been nominated for an Innovation Award at PLASA.
The S-2, designed with the rental and production markets in mind, offers an easy two push buttons on the front, allowing operation of universes 1 & 2 along with two DMX inputs both accepting full frame / full refresh DMX. Other features include signal level control and DMX over RJ45 and Cat 5 cable. The ability to send multiple DMX universes is a real advantage for large, distributed installations, says the company.
"We saw the need for this type of system for a variety of situations," explains Arvidsson, "For example, when multiple board operators split a large rig into sections, the S-2 eliminates the need for additional transmitters. We look forward to giving PLASA attendees the first glimpse at this exciting new system."
