A 5m diameter pool of dancing water fountains was designed and installed by the company, offering a unique spectacle of water, music and lights amongst the greenery of other displays and live entertainment at Bradford's 2008 Garden Magic event.
What was not visible to visitors at Garden Magic was the high level of technology installed within the display - designed to soothe, relax and invigorate its audience with a fully choreographed sequence of movements.
Founder and managing director Byll Elliot says: "Transforming a truly urban space into something quite different for a temporary period has been an exciting challenge. As our team will be on site throughout the duration of Garden Magic, being able to share in the delight of visitors when they meet with such a visual feast is always part of the fun for us too."
Water Sculptures ran the dancing fountains from 10am to 10pm throughout Garden Magic, from 13-17 August. The 400mm pool consisted of a series of four water jets, each with six different effects and appearing to dance; 18 pumps separately controlled around the perimeter and interacting with the fountains; a single, large, foaming jet in the centre reaching a height of some 10m; and four additional jets leaping about in the pool.
Lighting was from 12 Pulsar LED ChromaFloods and six Studio Due Mini CityColors fitted to the perimeter of the pool. The sound system for the event was supplied by Bradford-based Pro Audio.
