White Light will have two stands at the ABTT Show 2011
UK - At this year's ABTT Theatre Show, both the organiser - the Association of British Theatre Technicians - and an exhibitor that has appeared at the show every year since the show began - White Light - will mark important milestones, with the ABTT celebrating its fiftieth anniversary, and White Light turning 40.

While marking historic moments, both organisations will, as always, be concentrating on the future, showing some of the latest advances in lighting technology. White Light is taking two stands at the show.

Filling these will be some of the latest LED fixtures, which see LEDs move into the world of framing spotlights rather than just washlights: both the new Coemar Reflection LED ko and the Juliat Aledin spotlights will be on show. The Aledin takes the established Juliat profile spot bodywork and adds a white LED source, while the Reflection offers either white or colour mixing LED sources that work with standard Source Four lens tubes.

A wide range of LED washlights and floods will also be on show, including the BB1 and BB2 from i-Pix, the RevEAL Colour Wash and Studio Fresnel, the Coemar CycLite, the JB A7 Zoom and the range from Leader Light - all offering high-output colour-mixing with low power consumption. The non-colour mixing Galaxia LED softlight, which offers a variable colour temperature white light and which is already proving popular with television lighting directors, will also be on display.

For applications where LED isn't yet the right choice, White Light will have a range of other fixtures on show, including the Coemar Infinity ACL moving beamlight and Infinity Spot moving spotlight, the Juliat Victor followspot plus ETC Source Fours fitted with Rainbow colour scrollers and the VSFX3 optical effect system mounted to the new Robert Juliat effect projector.

The stands will also feature a selection of control, dimming and networking products, such as the DMX splitters, dimmers and consoles from LSC Lighting, network nodes and the Sidekick DMX recorder from ELC, the RSC Lightlock, and the Arkaos media server range.

As well as the gear, staff from White Light will be on hand to discuss the full range of services the company offers, including lighting hire, sales, installation, service and training - as well as to reminisce about 40 years of service to the entertainment industry.
