With so many products on display, White Light will be spread across two stands, S-A2 in the Saviles Hall and RA-C4 in the Royal Armouries Museum.
Lanterns will include some of the latest developments in LED fixtures: the Galaxia LED softlight, proving enormously popular with those working in television; the award-winning Prism RevEAL family with output feedback giving consistent colour rendering and output over the fixture's life; the A7 wash fixtures from JB-Lighting, the powerful Stage Wash LED batten and Stage Spot washlight from Leader Light; the versatile BB-range from iPix, including products offering data-over-mains to simplify control cabling, and products from Coemar including the award-winning Reflection Full Spectrum LED washlight and Infinity Spot M and Infinity ACL-S conventional moving light fixtures, which have proved incredibly popular with lighting designers over the last year.
The new development in LED technology is the move from LEDs just being used in wash fixtures to forming a light source in framing spotlights. Robert Juliat has led this field with its Aledin profile spot; this will be on show alongside the new Aledin LED Fresnel, but these products will be joined by the Coemar Ledko in one of its first appearances.
Alongside these new products will be long-standing favourites including the ever-popular Rainbow scroller range, Look Solutions' range of smoke and haze machines including the Unique, the Viper and the Tiny FX and Tiny CX miniature smoke machines, and trussing from Tomcat. The show will also present a chance to see a product that really has to be seen to be believed, the remarkable RSC Lightlock moving light stabiliser, now in action at the RSC's new theatre in Stratford as well as on numerous other shows worldwide.
White Light will also be demonstrating a range of control, dimming and infrastructure products, including LSC Lighting's Clarity control system and VX fader wings, Redback dimmer and MDR data splitters, ELC's Showstore Xlan, Checker, Sidekick Too and data nodes, and the Arkaos A10 media server.
"We're incredibly proud of the family of products that we've gathered together, the manufacturers offering class-leading, innovative and, in some cases, unique tools for those working in every area of lighting," comments White Light's sales director Peter Threadgold. "We look forward to showing them in Leeds, since the best way of experiencing them is, of course, hands-on."
