White Light's role will involve delivering the technical production for any event held in this historic location, whether these are concerts, corporate or private parties. Over the next year, White Light will be investing in new audio-visual and lighting equipment which will be permanently installed in a number of rooms; ensuring that every event can utilise the very latest technology. Along with these installations, White Light is also adding three on-site staff members so that every technical aspect will be covered.
Amongst those joining White Light is Dan Cecchini who will take on the position of production director. He comments, "White Light is an exciting company to be working for. Just looking at what they have already achieved this year, from opening their dedicated audio department to acquiring Shock Solutions, the company is forever growing - with this appointment at Central Hall Westminster being another sign of this." Prior to joining White Light, Cecchini was head of sound at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre for the past 13 years.
Joining Cecchini as part of the team based at Central Hall Westminster will be Nick Jemicz as technical production supervisor and Ieuan Watkins as production technician. Both will be on hand to ensure that any client using the spaces will have the best support available and that every technical aspect of their occasion will be overseen.
The recent Meet the Future event held at Central Hall Westminster offered White Light the opportunity to showcase both their technical skills and extensive stock range. This included video mapping The Great Hall's dome ceiling, lighting the main stage and operating three separate sound systems simultaneously. Richard Wilson, director at White Light, states, "We want to offer a fresh, contemporary perspective on how events will be run at Central Hall Westminster. We are in a unique position where we can offer clients not only the very latest in technology but a team of experts who will be on hand to ensure that this is used to its full potential. This type of service is simply not available in other venues."
