Their President, Gary Crawford, is well known for his work as a Special Effects Coordinator, and has worked on such movies as E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, 2010, Poltergeist, Halloween III, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and many more well known films, his first being Camelot. He is also the recipient of the 1997 LDI award for Best Atmospheric Effects for SnoBiz biodegradable snow. They offer a comprehensive selection of products including the popular Dream Teams which encompass larger areas for audience-participation.
Their most popular, the Little Blizzard Dream Team, was the original and first of its kind. It sends snow over a 24m X 15m area, and includes the Little Blizzard SP/DMX snow machine, the Hurricane II DMX fan, hanging apparatus, and the driest evaporating snow fluid in the industry. Many have tried to duplicate it, but, no one's been able to get close to the quality, durability, quietness, and great snow effects this equipment creates. They have also recently introduced a non-freezing snow fluid for snow machines called the LB32 fluid.
CITC has a lot of firsts, which make them a groundbreaking company that White Light is proud to represent. They introduced the first, non-CO2 confetti launcher, called the ShotMax, the first self-feed bubble machine called the Bubble Max Auto-fill, the first foam machine for foam dancing, called the Super Foam Dome, the first water-based haze machine with a non-glycol formula, called the HazeMax, the first low ground fog machine that didn't need CO2, dry ice or an extra fog machine, called the Polar Controller, and the first completely organic haze fluid, similarly called, Organic Haze fluid, which is used in the HazeMax.
CITC is especially proud of their FogMax machine, which beat out all others a while back for the John Travolta movie, "Ladder 49," where 12 of them kept running long hard hours. The StarHazer II and III are compressor type hazers. One used oil, the other water, respectively. There is no warm-up time for the StarHazer III and it's perfect for a very light, elegant haze. Their Mistifyer systems provide mist for restaurants and amusement parks. These systems come in a variety of sizes and styles, from a fine to a heavy haze and because there is no piping, can be installed quickly and creatively for any shaped area.
