Among the range of microphones being shown by DPA and Mega are new additions to the 4099 range of clip microphones which have been designed with individual instrument groups in mind. The two additions are the DPA 4099B, and the 4099C for bass and cello respectively, and join the 4099G (guitar, mandolin, dobro etc), 4099V (violin, mandolin and more), 4099T (trumpet and other brass instruments) and 4099S (saxophones, bass clarinets etc).
Visitors to the stand can win a 4099 of their choice, an IMK4061 instrument miking kit containing a DPA miniature mic with mounting accessories, and a plethora of promotional items by registering their details, which will be entered into a prize draw after the show.
There is also a chance to hear the 4099s on the DPA stand, as live entertainment is being provided by a German duo, miked with a DPA 4099G on guitar and a 4099B on bass.
