The latest version of BlueLine Digital System offers up to 64 stereo channels
Spain / The Netherlands - Among all the products for AV installers and integrators that Work is presenting at ISE 2014 (stand 7-M176), UDA 16, the array configuration column, is "probably the crown jewel", the company says.

"This new concept of column loudspeaker with line array shape provides many advantages for integrators: controlled beamwidth for almost all frequencies reproduced by the column which leads not only to minimise undesirable effects induced by walls and ceiling reflections (reverbs and echoes) but also to excellent results in reverberant acoustic conditions and a perfect music and speech intelligibility," says the company.

Another attractive launch prepared for Amsterdam will be the new series of active and passive subwoofers Z15 and Z18. This new series is composed of four models, Z15 (single 15"), Z18 (single 18") that can be configured passive or active. The active ones add a 1000 W Class D amplifier (Z15 A and Z18 A) and a built-in DSP, which joined, achieve a perfect sound adjustment. This digital sound processor module has been designed to optimize the frequency response adjusting it to the requirements of each device where it is integrated into. The passive models, for its part, add a single 15" woofer (Z15) which has a continuous power up to 500W @ 8 ohms and a single 18" (Z18) woofer that has a continuous power up to 600W @ 8 ohms.

The inclusion of two passive models and two active models increases the number of possible configurations, from an independent subwoofer reinforcement (passive model) to a self-powered system to enrich a previous amplified installation (active model). In addition, thanks to the bass reflex design with direct radiation, these subwoofers are able to make a cardioid pattern configuration, which reduces (almost eliminates) the low frequencies radiation backwards, avoiding interferences and unwanted noises on stage, the company says.

The enhanced BlueLine Digital that Work will be shown at ISE 2014 is going to be another new announcement. The latest version of BlueLine Digital System offers up to 64 stereo channels to distribute different audio sources with very low latency. Its plug-and-play system makes it easier for users to set up, and also offers several intuitive solutions for locally controlling each zone.

Besides these new products, attendees at ISE will have the opportunity to check out other products, such as the LM 5, from the LightMouse Series, which allows easy remote control of audio and lighting installations using mobile devices. Visitors will also find out about the digital sound processors of the brand, Digiline 8, MX and WPE 26N, along with WORKCAD software, which allows an intuitive configuration of every single parameter besides of providing functionalities such as control through external devices over Ethernet and OSC.
