The Coca-Cola Store is a part of the World of Coca-Cola experience, where visitors can choose from a vast array of decorative items, apparel, accessories, and one-of-a-kind art pieces, and even Style Your Own bottle of Coca-Cola. "The Coca-Cola Store is really a fun place to visit, and the video screens are an important part of the experience," observes Christopher Blum, account manager at Ford AV for the project. "It's always packed, and they needed to create a video and audio experience that would really grab the attention of people in the store and on the sidewalk."
To accomplish that, Ford AV fashioned three separate video display clusters: a 360-degree 'chandelier' of 18 screens that vary in size largest to smallest as they reach towards the ceiling of the two-story space, and two other multi-screen clusters set up at the front and rear entrances to the Store. These continuously show some of Coke's award-winning commercial videos from around the world.
In order to help control energy costs and to keep its electronics media systems on the correct schedule, the Xantech LM110 programmable controller offered the most elegant solution. "There are far more complicated and costly ways to do this, which makes the simplicity and reliability of the Xantech LM110 that much more attractive, to us and the client," says Blum. "We use tons of Xantech equipment on our projects and it always offers us the same thing: consistently good-quality technology that's simple, reliable and cost-effective. Everyone is always happy with the result."
