Speaking during the tour to Allen & Heath USA's artist relations manager, Nick McGeachin, Sasha commented: "I'm just using CDs on the tour. I hook up the Fireworks audio interface module to the auxiliaries on the mixer to bring in some cool effects, like sweeps and delays. I also love working the filters on the Xone mixers. The Fireworks integrates with the Allen & Heath mixers beautifully and it gives my DJ sets that extra element."
Sasha continues: "Xone DJ mixers have become an integral part of my shows. Right from the first time I used the Xone:464 I loved the sound and features. I've specified a Xone:62 on all my recent tour riders, I've got a full V6 rig in my studio, and I'm just about to take delivery of the new Xone:92. I'm looking forward to getting my head around the MIDI and using two filters looks like fun."
"I think a lot of technology is finally breaking through to allow the DJ to really interact with the music. Things like Final Scratch, Ableton Live and computers are allowing DJs to be a lot more intuitive and spontaneous in their performances. It's definitely the future, and what dance music needs right now to progress. It needs a big kick up the arse, and I think technology will provide that. I think Allen & Heath have seen the right direction to take with the Xone:92 mixer by incorporating MIDI."
