Offering services across all disciplines including lighting, audio, structures, power, staging and set design, Gearhouse takes an imaginative approach to project design and prides itself on its state-of-the-art equipment.
Dave Tudor of Gearhouse explains the background to this recent purchase: "With the sale of equipment into Nigeria, we needed to replace and upgrade our stock of audio processing. XTA has proved a very reliable product in the past, which contributed to the decision to make the purchase." He continued: "We currently have in our inventory a number XTA DP224s and DP226s and we recognised the need to upgrade our loudspeaker processing to the newer 4 Series. These units continue where the older 2 Series left off. In addition, the GQ600 is a highly requested item on riders and we have built them into our FOH drive racks for use as 'grab' EQs. C2s were a natural choice for us in upgrading the quality of our analogue compressors to meet the demands of any analogue tech rider. It has all the features an engineer wants and sounds great as well!"
And for XTA, sales and marketing director Bill Woods added: "It is a great testimony to XTA products that leading system providers all around the world continue to rely on our product for mission critical applications. Gearhouse is a powerhouse in its chosen field, as is XTA. We are extremely pleased to have been able to provide the continuity from the old 2 Series to the new DP4 Series."
