StageMix Version 4 for CL, M7CL and LS9 users can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store from May
Germany - Yamaha has announced a major upgrade for its popular StageMix iPad app. Available as a free download from May, the updated app will further enhance its aim of aiding 'Perfect Monitor Mixes in Minutes'.

StageMix was initially launched in 2010, allowing wireless remote control of the M7CL digital console's mixing parameters for the first time. It was an instant hit with engineers, providing unprecedented monitor setup freedom and flexibility. Followed by StageMix for the LS9 in 2011, and the CL series in 2012, all three types are exceptionally popular with Yamaha users, being used across the globe. As well as for setting up monitor systems, many audio engineers have pushed the boundaries of the app to use it for more advanced mixing applications.

StageMix Version 4 offers numerous new features and refinements for CL, M7CL, and LS9 users, giving them even more control and flexibility when working remotely from the console.

"We are delighted to introduce the latest version of StageMix, which provides even greater flexibility and efficiency for CL, M7CL and LS9 console users," says Kazunori Kobayashi, general manager of Yamaha's Pro Audio division. "We are always listening to our customers and Version 4 delivers a range of additional features which have been requested by engineers in the field. We will continue to develop and incorporate further innovative ideas and features that enhance the working environment of Yamaha users."
