To meet increasing demand for services in Northern California and to better serve West Coast clients, Robert Young will lead the theatre consulting group from Arup's San Francisco office.
He joins industry veterans Josh Cushner, Kurt Graffy and Larry Tedford to offer integrated acoustics, audiovisual and theatre consulting services. Recent projects include work for arts, education and corporate clients including the Metropolitan Opera, the San Francisco Opera, SF MOMA, and Idyllwild Arts.
A respected member of the theatre community with more than 20 years of experience, Young has led the theatre planning and technical systems design for some of the most acclaimed arts and academic buildings of the last decade.
