"Graham made significant contributions to Zero 88 during his eight years, during which time the brand launched Frog consoles and the Chilli dimming range. We would like to thank Graham for his years of service and wish him well in his future endeavours" comments Ken Walma, general manager, Cooper Controls.
With this change, Cooper Controls says it is "taking the opportunity to restructure the Zero 88 brand to better service customers, increase sales, and support new product development".
With immediate effect Grant Bales-Smith will take on responsibility for Zero 88 profitability in all markets outside the Americas as well as sales responsibility for UK, Southern Europe, Middle East & Africa.
Franck Tiesing will continue to manage Northern & Eastern Europe as Zero 88 takes a stronger approach to Europe with additional resources and product developments. Claire House will take on sales responsibility for Asia & Australasia and continues as the brand marketing manager.
Changes continue to take place within the brand and include: the launch of the brand into North America following the technology acquisition and marketing agreement with Electronics Diversified; an exclusive agreement with State Automation and their high density dimming products; development of the ORB family of premium theatrical lighting consoles, and the appointment of additional sales staff in Europe>
"2010 represents the beginning of a new era as we build on these developments, and continue delivering innovative solutions to the performance entertainment marketplace. We look forward to working with our distribution partners to grow our business over the coming year" concludes Walma.
