The company's stand features leading brand innovations from its four specialist divisions - A.C. Lighting, A.C. Audio, A.C. Rigging and A.C. Video - as well as providing specialist knowledge on applications using these technologies. A.C. Lighting will be showcasing a selection of innovations across its range of traditional and intelligent lighting fixtures, control, dimming and power distribution, effects, cables and connectors.
As the worldwide distributor for Chroma-Q, the stand will feature the brand's complete range of LED products for all types of entertainment and architectural lighting applications - including the new Color Span - a configurable, low-profile, ultra-bright LED fixture for indoor/outdoor wall wash, cove, effects and feature lighting applications in the architectural and entertainment sectors.
With Color Span you can specify for indoor (IP20) or outdoor (IP67) use, choose the body length, and one of 10 body colours, including stock Black, White or Silver. LED colours can then be chosen, from RGBA, single-colour Red, Green, Blue, Amber, Cool White, Warm White, or any colour combination. Finally, choose from narrow, medium or wide beam angle optics.
Other features include a powerful 1500 lumens output per 1.2meters, ultra-slim design, smooth linear dimming curve, versatile angle mounting bracket and optional 4-channel RGBA ('Magic Amber') configuration for achieving a warmer colours range and superior colour rendition. Color Span can wash a 21.6m long wall from just a single wall outlet, and features individual LEDs arranged in sets of 4 channel control circuits for greater programming flexibility. The Color Span can be controlled via DMX or a standalone mode featuring 99 pre-programmed looks and effects, and is connected via RJ45/Ethercon to a choice of power supplies for up to 6 or 18 full-length fixtures, say A.C.
The recently launched Color Punch features a punchy 1250 lumens output, providing "super-bright" results from a compact fixture, the company says.
It's also IP65-rated for use on temporary outdoor events and features a built-in power supply and choice of stand-alone or DMX-controlled effects modes, making setup quick and easy. Other products include the Color Split with dual side-by-side RGBA cells, offering users a choice of bold single colour or dramatic split colour effects, and the industry proven Color Web and Color Block modular LED visual effects display systems, offering endless design possibilities.
All Chroma-Q LED products are licensed by Color Kinetics and Nexxus Lighting. Magic Amber is the term used for the unit's ability to bring in Amber when mixing colours that require it. The Chroma-Q Color Web is designed, manufactured and also licensed by Artistic Licence.
As the exclusive European, North American and Middle East distributor for Jands lighting products, A.C. will also be showing the latest Vista range of stand-alone, and native Mac or PC-based lighting control solutions. Featuring an intuitive visual interface, innovative timeline editing function and generic fixture control, the Vista is both fast and simple to use. The new Vista I3 is a mid-range lighting desk that provides all the revolutionary features of the full-size T4/T2 consoles in a smaller, more economical package.
Featuring the software, processor and control elements of the stand-alone consoles, connect a pen-tablet, touch screen, or even a standard monitor, keyboard and mouse to the I3, and it becomes a fully operational Vista. Also on show is the new Jands WMX dimmer, a wall mounted version of the manufacturer's popular FPX portable dimmer.
