Mikapack is a range of six channel or 12 channel 3 kW all-digital dimmer packs combining the performances and the reliability of a professional dimmer at a competitive price.
It replaces ADB's MIcropack/Rack dimmers and means that, in combination with ADB's luminaire range and the latest Mikado and Domino controllers, ADB can now supply a full range of equipment for customers looking for simple yet reliable equipment built to the highest ADB quality standards, says the company.
MIkapack 15 is a six channel compact portable dimmer built in a 19" rack only two units high, with an optional truss clamping kit for distributed dimming solutions.The dimmer unit is 4kg lighter than its predecessor at just 10,3kg, and offers a wide range of common European connectors; while for fixed rack installations a terminal connector strip is also available.
It's now joined by the newly-launched 12 channel 3kW dimmer pack, the Mikapack30 dimmer module mounted in a 24 channel flight case.
Both models provide an intuitive but powerful user interface with four individual control buttons, and a backlight LCD screen with two lines of eight characters for easy programming. Other LED indicators monitor the supply phases, status of control signal and processor, and the output of each individual channel is displayed clearly on the front panel. for customers looking for simple yet reliable equipment built to the highest ADB quality standards.
Mikapack has been designed for decentralised dimming, in fixed installation, touring, in stage, TV studio and architectural lighting.This equipment is available with all major standard European outlets and power supply on 1.5m - 5 x 4mm2 cable or with a screw-on terminal strip.
