UK - Following the installation of audio systems for Carluccio's in Manchester's Trafford Centre, Kingston-upon-Thames' Bentall Centre and Walton-on-Thames, ADC has recently completed the installation of a Community loudspeaker-based system in the group's new flagship restaurant in Covent Garden.

Carluccio's aim is to provide great quality and authentic Italian food at sensible prices, and now has over thirty locations nationwide. They have just returned to Covent Garden. Good quality audio and specially selected music is a feature of the Carluccio's experience.

ADC designed and installed the system, which is divided into four zones covering each of the main areas; ground floor café, ground floor shop, first floor restaurant and first floor private dining. Centrally supplied from multi-CD and media-player sources, each zone has separate Toa amplification driving a total of twenty-two Community Cloud4 ceiling loudspeakers on 100V lines. Each zone is fitted with a control to allow the staff to set the level locally.

"Designing a system with Community and Toa ensures absolute reliability," commented ADC director, Lorn Money, "Also, the frequency response of the Cloud4s provides really good BGM audio quality without the need for adding subs, ensuring a really discreet, almost invisible, system."

ADC is currently installing systems for Carluccio's new Spinningfields, Manchester and Stratford-upon-Avon locations, which will open later this year and will again feature Toa amplification and Community ceiling loudspeakers.
