UK - Stage Electrics is using the Showman's Show to launch its new 'Ice Bumper Cars' to the UK market together with new portable staging products smartStage 45 and smartStand 122.

A full size rink will showcase the battery powered Ice Bumper Cars and visitors to the company's stand will be able to experience the new family entertainment on ice. The responsive joystick controlled cars are suitable for drivers ages four and up. Cars can spin 360 degrees to go in all directions to pursue their targets, backwards and forwards and cannot be boxed into a corner. Ice Bumper Cars are exclusive to Stage Electrics in the UK and are available for rental or sales.

Part of the demonstration ice rink will be covered by one of Stage Electrics own Arc Roof structures in case of inclement weather.

Also previewing at the show will be the smartStage 45 and smartStand 122. The smartStage 45 is a stage trailer with characteristic lean-to roof and a very short set up time of 30 minutes. It offers a tandem axle and overrunning brakes and the roof is lifted using an electro-hydraulic system with remote control.

The smartStand 122 is a covered stand module seating 122 on a container chassis, designed for sports, fetes, shows and presentations and can be installed in less than 60 minutes.

Ian Tregaskis, head of events for Stage Electrics, elaborated: "These are an exciting addition to our portfolio of products, the Ice Bumper Cars have only been experienced before in the United States and Europe and we are looking forward to bringing this unique form of entertainment to the UK market."
