The Karura Community Chapel in Nairobi has grown to an average audience size of 1600 over its 20-year history
Kenya - An Allen & Heath Qu-32 compact digital mixer has been installed in the Karura Community Chapel in Nairobi. Established in 1996, the Chapel has grown to an average audience size of approximately 1600 over its 20-year history, and needed to upgrade from the existing analogue mixer to digital.

Installed by Paxt's Kenyan distributor, Sound Creations, the Qu-32 was selected for its sound quality, good FX engine, ability to have 32 channels on a single layer, simplicity, cost effectiveness, and plenty of mixing and output options. Sound Creations Ltd. also installed dB Technologies T4s alongside the mixer.

Mr.Kaka, Karura's sound technician, was very satisfied with the mixer: "I think the new sound system has awakened Karura Community Chapel. People who used to come late to worship now run so that they don't miss it."

"The system sounds great. Most of my installations begin with a Qu mixer. I recommend it to any Church that enjoys good sound on a great board," adds Sound Creations' project manager, Mike Rutherford.
