The Multi-Touch system reacts to your touch by sensing the infrared signature where your fingers are touching the surface, the result is a system that allows more than one person to manipulate images, video, 3D models and more.
The movement is detected by infra-red cameras, with the screen or tabletop being flooded by an infrared illumination system, with an optical filtering system. A PC with application software controls the specially designed content, beamed on a compliant projection surface. The Arcstream Multi-touch tables and walls support a wide range of gestures enabling you to move images, zoom in, rotate and more.
Neil Dickinson, managing director of Arcstream AV says: "This new system is simple for the user to use and experience, while having a really stunning impact on an event environment. You can use it to create interactive presentations, turn Google earth in circles with a touch or your finger or create interactive menus and brand information for users. It has had a great response from event organisers and we're looking forward to starting to use it at events this year."
