With this in mind, Batmink Ltd has introduced a new 240V Pro version - which eliminates the need for a transformer - to its range of LED Neon Flex products. Available in Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue, Green and White, the new Pro Neon Flex now delivers maximum continuous lengths of between 96 and 122 metres, depending on colour, say Batmink.
This new product supplements Batmink's comprehensive range of LED Neon Flex products and depending on the nature of the application, versions of the flex are available in one colour red, yellow, orange, blue, green and white, or colour-changing RGB format. It is also available with either diffused sleeving, mimicking conventional neon tubing; or as a crystal version, with transparent casing and highly reflective backing, ideal for applications where light throw is important.
Batmink told LSI Online: "All versions of the flex can be cut to order or supplied on drums, allowing for on-site fabrication, and can be formed without any special tools or training. It can be bent into curves as small as 4cm radius and be cut at regular intervals. Since we are all urged to consider our carbon footprint it is also worth bearing in mind that traditional neon consumes up to 8.75W per linear 30cm, running at 15,000 volts. In comparison, LED Neon Flex uses a fraction of this. Not only is this environmentally sound, but also cuts down on running costs, an important consideration these days."
