LDI 2014 will mark the first US showing of ArKaos' new MediaMaster 4.1, the latest, ever-more powerful version of ArKaos PRO's media server software. MediaMaster 4.1 delivers a plethora of new features including new aspect ratio and cropping tools, new hue, saturation and lightness tools, layer-based volume control and a redesigned interface.
Also making its LDI debut is LEDMaster, the new all-in-one solution that delivers LEDshow control in three easy steps. Just map, programme and playback. Designed to work in conjunction with ArKaos PRO's Kling-Net protocol, LEDMaster automatically recognises and configures any Kling-Net LED device to make it ready for mapping. Through Kling-Net, the device's resolution and pixel format is sent to the LEDMaster which is then able to read and change parameters.
Finally, ArKaos PRO's complete range of media servers will be exhibited side by side at the show giving visitors the opportunity to choose for themselves which suits their purposes best. Comprising the Stage, Studio and Stadium servers, this range offers up to two-, four- and six-outputs respectively with features and controllability that meet any challenge or project requirement.
As part of the LDInstitute Pro Training, ArKaos will be running four half-day training sessions to help creative lighting and video professionals get to grips with the capabilities of ArKaos MediaMaster, one of the most powerful and economical server solutions on the market.
Designed for lighting designers, video operators, and programmers, the ArKaos media-server class provides participants with everything required to set-up, programme, and run a show including video mapping, edge blending, 3D mapping, and advanced geometrical correction.
Training will be conducted by ArKaos technical sales & support manager, Toon Servaes, who will present an overview of ArKaos hardware and software as well as lead hands-on exploration of the interface, geometrical correction features, LED and video mapping.
