Stewart Lee, comedian and long-term fan of the trailblazing theatre, organized an extraordinary line up of comic talent in aid of BAC's fundraising campaign. Lee is also the co writer of Jerry Springer The Opera, the breakaway smash hit that began its life at BAC. Harry Hill (TV Burp), Lee Mack (ITV's Sketch Show), Catherine Tait (BBC2's Catherine Tait Show), Stewart Lee (This Morning with Richard Not Judy), Simon Amstell (C4's Popworld), Peter Baynham as 'Peter' (Fist Of Fun, I Am Not An Animal), Arnold Brown (inventor of Alternative Comedy), Kevin Eldon (Nighty Night), Richard Thomas and Kombat Opera (Jerry Springer The Opera), scoffed gourmet sausages and rocked the mikes in front of a sell-out crowd. BAC is fund-raising to maintain current levels of activity in light of a reduction in funding from Wandsworth Borough Council.
