"We were delighted to get behind this very important award which is all about something that Black Light passionately believes in - the mutually beneficial link between arts and the corporate world," says Black Light's head of company development, Phil Haldane.
The Small Business Award was given for an effective arts sponsorship by a business with under 50 employees. Alongside the winners the following companies were commended: A1 Comics, Children's Classic Concerts, The Wee Curry Shop and Glasgow Film Theatre.
To make sure that the evening went without a hitch, Black Light also provided practical lighting, AV and production management support for the awards ceremony itself.
"A huge thanks to the Black Light team for all the technical input to our awards ceremony," said Barclay Price, chief executive of Arts and Business Scotland. "That support and expertise was invaluable in helping ensure that the evening ran smoothly and looked glittering."
Arts & Business Scotland exists to promote mutually beneficial relationships between business and culture. Its awards ceremony is held each year to recognise the most outstanding and creative partnerships between businesses and arts organisations.
At the ceremony, winners across a total of ten categories were presented with specially commissioned award pieces in front of an audience of over 300 guests from business, the arts and the media.
Alongside Black Light other sponsors of the awards included Shell UK and Museums Galleries Scotland.
