The three year contract sees Blitz supplying ExCeL with the latest in AV equipment. Blitz also has an on site technical team to provide any additional support for the venue's clients. The alliance will ensure that ExCel's clients continue to benefit from the option of in-house expertise and technical staging services of the highest and most creative professional calibre. The service will be available to organisers using any of the venue's multi-purpose event spaces.
For the global information company, Reuters, Blitz installed an LED ticker display on the wall at its new location in Canary Wharf to show real time share price information from major exchanges around the world. In addition to the ticker display Blitz installed an LED screen in Reuters Plaza, the pedestrianised square. This displays real time news and images. Blitz also provided video, sound and lighting equipment for a number of meeting rooms including a 200 seat auditorium.
Blitz provided the latest in AV equipment for a Deloitte event which was attended by over 1,400 delegates at the ExCel centre. Blitz's kit list included 10 screens, 20 projectors, a PA system and a 1000ft truss. Blitz also worked very closely with the Deloitte Events and Brand Team to create a unique stage set, providing a spectacular focal point for the firm's annual partner meeting. Here Blitz's equipment included G8 Barco projectors including back-ups fed by a Barco Encore widescreen system, three cameras and 15 Lapel mics.
Paul Hutton, managing director of Blitz, says: "Blitz continues to go from strength to strength and our clients in the City are testament to the success of our business philosophy which is to place our customers at the centre of all our operations. We work closely with all our clients to ensure that the equipment we supply meets their practical needs and the overall service exceeds their expectations."
