Germany - Bosch Security Systems is displaying its full range of public address systems, peripheral equipment and related services at Prolight + Sound this week in hall 8 at booth A22. After the success of Dynacord and Electro-Voice at last year's exhibition, public address and voice alarm systems from Bosch Security Systems will now also be shown at the fair.

"Technology and security measures for large scale events are an area where we have seen steady increases in customer demand for our products," says Martijn Van Overveld, product marketing manager public address systems EMEA at Bosch Security Systems. "We proudly announce the presence of Bosch Security Systems at this year's Prolight + Sound."

As a highlight of the fair, Bosch will showcase its new LC4 Wide Angle Ceiling Loudspeakers, which are characterized by a very large opening angle for unmatched coverage per speaker. As a result, installers require fewer pieces and thereby save costs.

At the exhibition, Bosch will present its extensive range of voice alarm systems, such as the Plena Voice Alarm System and the fully digital Praesideo Public Address and Emergency Sound System - all EN54 certified. Bosch was one of the first companies worldwide to obtain the certifications, which incorporate both the central voice alarm equipment and peripheral devices such as loudspeakers.

Demonstrating its commitment to user-friendliness, Bosch presents its extensive range of ceiling and wall-mounted speakers - all now compatible with the EASE EVAC acoustic simulation tool. This software, developed by AFMG, allows faster and easier speaker verification and optimization in all voice evacuation installations.

For public address system owners who require uninterrupted high quality music, Bosch displays its new PLE-SDT Plena Easy Line SD Turner Background Music source. Designed without moving parts, it can be used in hotels, restaurants, supermarkets and shops alike. With an SD/USB capacity of up to 32 GB (up to 2000 tracks) and the option to connect the USB to either the front or rear panel, the digital player provides hours of high-quality, uninterrupted music playback from a single source.

And as another handy aid to installers and customers alike, Bosch will present the recently introduced Loudspeaker Selection Guide and its all-new digital app version - LSP Select. Both formats provide an overview of the company's extensive portfolio as well as information on the devices' EN54 certification.
