Rigging Services was one of the first companies (if not the first) in the event industry to offer online services from the mid 1990's. Re-branded as RSDirect the shop site does far more than allow an online transaction.

Working easily with either a PC, laptop or smart phone the site is very simple to navigate, search and buy or simply to use as a reference library for technical information, essential for the specification and safe use of lifting and rigging equipment.
In related news, Rigging Services have announced their latest growth plans. These include a location in west London and a re-location of its Birmingham branch to a new site "four times its previous size".
The latest and fourth location of Rigging Services is based at Pinewood Studios. Although supplying its services across the entire event industry not only within TV & Film there is a good synergy with Rigging Services and other complimentary services also operating from Pinewood. "We are really pleased to be a part of the Pinewood community and look forward to working amongst like minded individuals," states national sales manager Bob Dean.
From this new location Rigging Services can offer a quicker , cost effective and more local service to its clients on the west side of London. This site also allows quicker links to its other locations in the Midlands and North West.

The success of the business as a whole, especially with the regular capitalisation of new rental equipment has meant that for a long time all three branches have had a need for more space.
The new location of the Birmingham branch is therefore future proofed and can accommodate the anticipated growth for the foreseeable future, says the company.
In addition to the existing features, the new site of 13,500sq.ft will house a purpose-built training school and permanent space dedicated to practical training classes for rigging, building truss structures and working at height.
It will even be possible to carry out trial builds either for rental equipment or training purposes of a complete festival stage under the same roof.
