Another Bosch DCN system is already used every day in the main Irish Parliament in Dublin so the Irish government know its capabilities very well. It is also used in many other EU parliaments including Brussels and the new Scottish parliament building in Edinburgh.
Provided and installed by SKS, one of Bosch's main partners in Ireland, the new system provides a complete portable solution based on the well known top-of-the-range DCN Concentus congress system equipped with around 200 delegate units plus electronic voting and display.
It also features the new Integrus Infrared Interpretation system with around 350 IR receivers, allowing delegates to switch to any of up to 15 simultaneous language channels with crystal clear sound. The digital IR makes the system immune to interference from fluorescent lights, electrical equipment or sunlight, giving delegates the highest possible sound quality at each location - and all without wires.
The all-digital DCN system uses a single cable to carry all sound, power and control signals, greatly simplifying installation and making location simple, allowing it to be moved to different locations and quickly set up for operation wherever required.
