Camco has also added EtherSound connectivity to its entire product range, again in close collaboration with Auvitran, which is providing hardware modules and development services to the company. Reiner Sassmann, Camco MD, said: "EtherSound technologically is the leading standard for audio over Ethernet in the pro audio industry. It's the only technology on the market to offer a network latency low enough for live sound, that is also stable, and deterministic . . . It is very important to us that EtherSound is not a proprietary technology and that our products will be able to work with many exciting products from other industry leading manufacturers. Our close partner Nexo is just one such manufacturer."

It's now possible to upgrade existing amplifiers of the Vortex and Tecton series with the modules and thereby add EtherSound functionalities to a large part of Camco's installed product base. Latest addition to the Vortex range is the Vortex 200V, specified at more than 3000W per channel RMS at 4 Ohms. The Tecton Series introduced users to the company's SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supply) design concept. Targeted at the sound contractor and rental company market, the series features seven models, from 2 x 300W/4 Ohms.

Finally, Camco's Wincai remote control software now has improved graphics and a modern ergonomic user interface. The new package supports multi-threading for simultaneous use of multiple Ethercai servers.
