The notable advancements on R23 include: new visualization features that deliver the real quality of light - in realtime; variable focus which allows users to focus beams, gobos, video, etc., at any distance; beams moving across objects will produce realtime shadows; hot spots will display a truer representation of the light; and to keep pace with the exploding trend in digital lighting, video content is displayed in beams, enabling users to model digital media fixtures and see the output in realtime.
