Using the AR-32, operators can now run all of their DMX-compatible lights from one easy-to-operate unit. The system comes factory-programmed for LED fixtures operating in 3-channel or RGB mode, and it can also control automated moving lights and DMX-compatible dimmers and power packs.
Capable of recording and playback in real time, the AR-32 has the ability to record show fade and hold times directly from the DMX controller. Users can programme complex fades and specify multiple cue points in exacting detail using the AR-32, which has the capacity to store eight shows of up to four pages each, for a total of 32 show locations.
"The AR-32 system was designed with user-friendly features that make it easy to control all of the LED and DMX lighting fixtures in permanent-install, architectural and entertainment environments," said Eric Loader, director of sales for Elation Professional. "With its trim wall-mount design and simple operation, this system is much more convenient and user-accessible than a large DMX lighting console. That's a major advantage. Plus, it's considerably more affordable than the bigger boards out there."
The system comes with Editor Software, which allows the operator to link to a PC via USB input and edit show data, then upload the revised version back into the controller. "The Editor Software is a very cool feature that opens the AR-32 to a world of endless creative potential by connecting directly to your personal computer," Loader said. "Now, installers and operators can easily tailor their own lighting programmes to fit a wider variety of today's cutting-edge buildings and venues."
The complete AR-32 Architectural DMX Recorder/Playback System consists of one AR-32C Controller, one AR-32P Power Supply, one AR-32 Wireless Remote Control, Editor Software, an RJ-45 LAN cable and a Cat 5 power supply cable.
