UK - CUK Audio promises its most comprehensive and impressive show ever at this year's PLASA08, with a new stand design for the 10 audio brands that the company exclusively represents, including Audica Professional, Community Professional Loudspeakers, DIS Danish Interpretation Systems, Digidesign, InOut Digital and KIND Audio. New to the CUK portfolio this year are Media Technology Systems Inc, Sabine, and Work; a further brand is to be announced at the show.

"Our investment in this year's PLASA is our biggest yet", explains CUK Audio MD, Stuart Thomson. "All of our brands are showing new and updated products and four new brands complete our line up, offering the most comprehensive and advanced range of solutions from a UK distributor. Our fourth new brand, to be announced at the show, is a global leader and will be a big draw and talking point of the show."

New from Audica Professional is the ultra-compact MicroPlus 4-Channel amplifier, previewed at ProLight&Sound and expanding MicroSeries suitability as a solution for much larger systems. Community's wide range of indoor and all-weather loudspeakers is extended with the first European showing of the new Entasys high-performance, three-way full-range column line-array loudspeaker and the VLF Series of low frequency loudspeakers.

DIS (Danish Interpretation Systems) will show a variety of equipment; focusing on the DC 6990P and the SW 7001 with a demonstration of streaming and archiving of meetings via the internet.

Digigram will introduce PYKO IP audio endpoints and Audio Manager software. PYKO devices will either convert analogue or digital audio sources to high-quality MP3 or PCM IP streams (PYKO-in) or play such streams from the network or from locally stored MP3 files (PYKO-out). PYKO has been designed for pro applications from the ground up and the units may be used "as-is" and configured through standard html pages for simple IP audio networks, or for more complex systems, Digigram offers an entirely revamped Audio Manager software.

Sabine founder and CEO, Doran Oster, and MTSi VP Marketing, Ian Stott, will both be attending their inaugural PLASA with CUK Audio to discuss products, solutions and applications with visitors, as will representatives from all of CUK's brands.
