The CA-28A is a self-powered, bi-amplified, two-way compact line array element incorporating two purpose-built 8" neodymium cone transducers and a newly developed M-10N neodymium compression driver mounted on a Serpis high frequency plane wave generator. The CA-28A is powered by a 450W Class D+ A/B twin channel amplifier. The frequency range of the CA-28A is 80Hz to 20kHz with a horizontal coverage of 120ยบ. The CA-28A weighs 36.5kg (80.5lb) including the built-in rigging fixtures and onboard amplifier unit. The unit's small size (26.5 x 88.2 x 40cm, or 10.4" x 34.7" x 15.8") makes it ideal for use in corporate AV presentations, conference and ballroom events as well as a wide range of live sound applications, say the manufacturer. Non-powered versions for use with outboard amplifiers are available in both passive and active configurations.
The CA-215A self-powered low frequency module is a dual 15" arrayable subwoofer that has a frequency range of 35Hz to 150Hz. Two 15" neodymium cone transducers are powered by a 1000W Class-D amplifier. The CA-215A weighs 64.5kg (142.2lb) and measures 45.2 x 88.2 x 74.6cm (17.8" x 34.7" x 29.4"). The built-in rigging hardware allows the CA-215A to be flown above or stacked below CA-28A units. As with the CA-28A, non-powered versions are also available.
