Horn Distribution in fact, has been operating since 1991, when the two men set out to build a portfolio of brands that they could represent exclusively in Poland. Denon was among its first serious brands in consumer electronics but the company soon realized that there was a huge demand for Denon Pro products.
To implement this, Horn Distribution set up a Pro Division and employed a dedicated sales force. "Adding Denon Pro products to the portfolio created new business opportunities for us - particularly in the DJ market," confirms Jaroslaw. "It was therefore a natural decision to broaden the scope of the operation by adding Marantz Pro."
Having opened up the market for DJs, radio stations, clubs, fitness centres, pubs, restaurants and private studios with Denon, Horn will now be using Marantz' broadcast and recording tools to extend its marketing sphere into the radio, conferencing and contractor areas say the company."We see Marantz as becoming an increasingly important player on the professional products landscape in Poland," says Jaroslaw.
