Like the market-leading DVA T4 - which has sold in excess of 15,000 units worldwide - the DVA T12 is made with a lightweight but rugged PP-Housing, which is fully compatible, allowing DVA T4 units to be flown right below a T12 array for use as down-fills in large PA systems. For an added acoustic benefit, both systems' driver sections are in line to generate phase-correct high-frequency additions.
The Digipro G2 digital three-way amplifier with switching power supply and PFC was designed especially for the T12, and offers the latest technology including a powerful 56Bit/96KHz DSP with ADDA converters delivering a true 1400 W/RMS. Equipped with one 12" neodymium woofer, two 6.5" neodymium mid-range and three 1" neodymium drivers with 2.5" voice coil the DVA T12 delivers up to 136 dB SPL with a dispersion of 100° to 10° per unit at a weight of less than 30Kg.
Rich Soper, UK sales manager, says, "The T12 shows a level of compatibility and common sense rarely seen with systems of its calibre. DVA components like DVA T4 or the flyable subwoofer S09 or S10 require no additional hardware to use in conjunction with the new T12, making the system easy to add to, as budget becomes available."
Complementing the T12 is the new S30 subwoofer, which is equipped with
two 18" neodymium woofers and partnered with a 3000 W/RMS digital amp to deliver 141 dB SPL per unit. Fitted as standard on the T12 and S30 the company is also launching their new RD-Net Network for realtime control and monitoring of its new products.
T12's first UK outing will be at PLASA Focus on stand S-D33.
